Do I have to pay extra when compared to buying the tickets in the traditional way?
No! UGABUS.COM does not charge anything extra when compared to the traditional way. The tickets are absolutely at the same cost and sometimes cheaper.

How can I get a bus ticket/invoice after booking a seat online?
After buying online at www.ugabus.com, you will receive an SMS with your ticket details. Present that ticket at the bus station and get a paper ticket to travel. If you do not receive the text message, you may call our customer care number & read to us your payment ID. If you used a VISA card or bitcoin, then you can still call our customer care number +256704741443.

Can I just take my SMS to the bus and board?
Yes. That SMS serves as your e-ticket. When you reach the bus, you will just present that text message, which contains a unique ID code. That ID code is identical to the ID code which will have been received by the respective bus conductor at the bus station. If your pick-up location does not have a counter, and is, for example, a taxi stand, then you may show your order summary (electronic OR printed paper version) to the bus conductor as you board the bus.

Do I need to print out my SMS ticket?
You may either print out your SMS or write it down on a piece of paper. When writing it down, ensure that you write the unique ID code which you received after booking. To avoid fraud, make sure that you do not show that unique ID code to any other person other than an agent from the UgaBus.com or a conductor from the bus.

Can I change my bus ticket date and time?
Tickets once sold are confirmed NOT changeable in any circumstance. You may still email to us at support@UgaBus.com or call +256704741443 to request a change of departure date and time of your bus e-tickets / order summary. You can only change your e-tickets to those tickets that belonged to the same bus company of your original tickets. However, the change request is not guaranteed. It’s always subjected to the bus side's decision.

Can I get a refund for cancellations?
Yes. The tickets booked through UGABUS.COM can be cancelled. Money is transferred back to the passenger's mobile money account or credit/debit card. Please note that the cancellation fee as applicable will be deducted from the fare and cancellation can be done only three hours before departure time of the bus. Please contact our help (support@UgaBus.com.com) for service specific details.

Can I check availability and fares without actually purchasing a ticket?
Yes. You do not need to pay or provide your credit card details to check availability and fares. We only require your payment details if you choose to complete a booking.

Do you need a login password or account creation?
No, our system is designed to make Bus booking very convenient and flexible. All you need is to visit www.UgaBus.com and then browse through. It’s a flexible and encrypted system. However, registering an account offers you more benefits.

Can I give the ticket to my friend?
Yes, you can do so.

Can my friend buy the bus ticket for me?
Yes, your friend can buy the ticket for you. He/she just have to fill in your particulars in the passenger's details section. Then your friend can forward to you the text message or the SMS ticket which they receive once they have made payment.

Should the child require a seat?
Any child who is 2-year old and above has to buy his/her own seat ticket or get an elder buy for them the bus ticket.

How long before the actual departure date can I book my ticket?
Ticket is open for sales usually 6 - 8 weeks in advance upto 1hour before departure time.

Cannot find bus schedule?
Please select the POINT of Departure], [Any Sub Location] and [DESTINATION], [Any Sub Location] to see more results. If 'No trips records' shown, that means the selected trips are fully booked.

How do I get to know if there is any delay or changes on the trip?
We / bus companies might call or email or SMS to inform you if there is any delay or changes, please make sure that your contact number and/or email are correct, so that we can contact you successfully.

Can I enjoy two or more promotions/discounts on one purchase?
No, you can only enjoy one discount/promotion at a time. Promotions, offers and discounts cannot be used in conjunction- only one is applicable at a time.

Why I cannot get certain searched schedules from the website but when I call the counter they said the particular trips are still available for sales?
Some trips are not opened online but offline are available, then you need to go to the bus counter to buy them.

Will the bus wait for me if I turn up late?
The buses listed on Ugabus.com have deep respect for time, and can never wait for any delayed passenger, at the expense of other passengers. Please turn up at least 30 minutes before departure.

Would there be stops made along the journey?
Usually the bus will stop one or two times along the way for toilet or refreshment break depends on the length of the journey. If you have any urgent matter to have the bus to pull over you may just tell the driver.
